I would like to share my favorite places in Barcelona with you. When you learn to avoid super touristic places like the Ramblas and Plaça Reial, it's awesome! Remember to drink a lot of Vichy Catalan, the yummiest bubbly water in the world. I will update this guide for every trip!

Shops:

Uterqüe, Passeig de Gràcia 65 - High End look for less €

Bimba y Lola, Passeig de Gràcia 55-57, Cool Spanish brand with excellent bags and accessories

Sandro, Carrer Consell de Cent 349 - Classic French Fashion, Female & Male

Maje, Rambla de Catalunya 120 - Also great French style

Les Topettes, Carrer Joaquin Costa, 33 in Raval - Excellent perfume shop with high-end brands such as Diptyque

The Outpost, Carrer Rosselló 281 - High end menswear accessories, worth a look!

Parfumeria Regia, Passeig de Gràcia 39 - Perfume shop with the best of the best niche brands. Find Byredo, Frederic Malle, Maison Francis Kurkdjian etc.

Sivasdescalzo, Bailén 18 - Beautifully designed sneaker shop

Restaurants:

La Pepita, Carrer de Còrsega, 343 - Innovative Tapas & great Cava.

L'eggs, Passeig de Gràcia, 116 - Egg everything, great for brunch.

Bar Lobo, Carrer del Pintor Fortuny, 3 - Just great for dinner, "safe" place for tapas in Raval!

Quimet & Quimet, Carrer del Poeta Cabanyes, 25 - very small tapas place in Poble Sec, so come early and enjoy their salmon tapas. No chairs!

Jai-ca, Carrer de Ginebra, 13 - Great tapas place in Barceloneta, try it at lunch time and que up for a table outside.

El Vaso de Oro, Carrer Balboa 6 - Also tapas in Barceloneta, go in and enjoy the ambience and the quite cool waiters in uniforms.

Meatpacking Bistro, Travessera de Gràcia, 50 - A little piece of New York in Gràcia, try it for dinner and have a drink in their private bar afterwards.

Gouthier, Carrer de Mañé i Flaquer, 8 - A French restaurant in Sarrià with yummy oysters, shellfish and champagne. Located in a really cute little square.

Café Emma, Pau Claris 142 - French café great for breakfast/brunch with good-tasting omelettes and Eggs Benedict.

Jaime Beriestain, Pau Claris 167 - Pretty and a somewhat more expensive café/restauant. Go there to indulge in some cava and cheese+jamon plates. This place also has a interior store with a great selection of coffee table books.

Cultural stuff:

Tibidabo - Mountain, Amusement Park & Church...Best view over Barcelona!

Macba - Their contemporary art museum is a must-see.

Miró Museum - Great museum and don't forget to go out on the rooftop for a beautiful view of the city.

Palo Alto Market - Drinks, food trucks, concerts and shopping in an old factory setting. Go there to see the most beautiful greenery! Open most weekends, but check their homepage to be sure!

Bars/Cafés:

Barceló Raval, Rambla del Raval, 17-21 - Hotel bar, take the elevator all the way up and enjoy a 360 degrees view of Barcelona.

Old Fashioned, Carrer de Santa Teresa, 1 - Small bar in Gràcia serving properly made cocktails.

Bar Calders, Carrer del Parlament, 25 - with a nice terrace.

Satan's Coffee Corner, Gran Via 700 - Cool and nicely designed coffee shop. Also has 2 other locations in the city.

Patrón, Travessera de Gràcia 44 - Restaurant and cocktail bar with a great outdoor terrace.
